Happy to be in an arranged marriage
“I was introduced to my future husband by email, met him for the first time on Skype and married him two months later,” says Divya.
Divya got married two years ago to a match arranged by her father’s friend. According to her even though an arranged marriage doesn’t sound like the most romantic thing in the world, it’s the best decision she has made in her life.

Germany needs Dutch help.
I am a native of Germany and was delighted about the reasonable and ethical position statement on circumcision published by the highest medical organization of one of our neighboring countries. http://knmg.artsennet.nl/Publicaties/KNMGpublicatie/Nontherapeutic-circu... Given that the Royal Dutch Medical Society (KNMG) is the only continental European medical organization which has released an official positions statement on circumcision and the Netherlands are one our neighbour, with whom we share great cultural and social similarities, a wider circulation and dissemination of the position statement would invariable have a positive effect on the situation and public opinion concerning circumcision in Germany. It would do much good to Germany's male youth if the position statement gathered more public attention and more widespread notice. However, although the KNMG released an English version alongside their Dutch version of their statement, no German languish version has been released so far, and unlike the Dutch, who are world-famous for their profound knowledge of foreign languages, and almost universally understand German and very often even speak some German, German people in general speak or understand neither Dutch nor English, and even among the minority who do most do not have sufficient enough knowledge of the English language to comprehend the position statement without any difficulty. So the languish barrier is a serious problem. Perhaps the KNGM would agree to produce an official German translation of their position statement on circumcision. This is certainly feasible and could be easily arranged Perhaps someone at Love Matters or at the RNW station could get in into contact with Mr. Gert van Dijk or any other KNGM official and request him to authorize an official German translation of the KNGM's position statement. They would certainly render the German male youth a great service. In fact I couldn't think of a more effectual way to raise awareness of this delicate issue and prevent unnecessary circumcisions in Germany Hence, I plead the KNMG to release a German languish version of their statement. Yours sincerely
