I decided long ago that "New Year Resolutions" only set myself up for failure.

Therefore, I no longer make them.
If there is something that needs resolved in my life, I do not wait for January.

On the other hand, setting goals are important and what better incentive than a neew year, to sit down and map things out. However I couldn't help but notice that on the list you put "have more sex".

More Sex must be calculated and planned because 'willy-nilly' or 'free-for-all' sex is dangerous and if you jump in without safety gear, the sex parts could catch something and rot off.

Being Christians, one of many things God desires us to do once we get protected with the blood of His Son Jesus would be to learn to evolve in His awareness and style.

The main reason God desires us to go pursuing His knowledge is simply because we can't spiritually grow in Him unless we've got the knowledge within us that will cause this religious development to occur in the first place. This is why God puts this type of high value about the pursuit of His knowledge for us, for without this, we will never be able to spiritually mature in the ways in which He'll desire us to.

And then once you look at the actual passages coming from the Bible on God seeking us to nurture in His knowledge, you'll find God producing several remarkable, powerful statements. As you will see when reviewing a few of the passages I'll include below, God is plainly telling us that going after His knowledge for our lives defeats seeking all of the material success of the world.

It's because His knowledge won't induce us to spiritually grow in Him, but it will also carry over with us into the next life too. However all the wealth and material belongings we will end up with won't be with us once we cross over. Everything will remain to decay and expire right with our bodies when we depart this life. Put simply, absolutely no luggage will need to be packed on your death bed.

Therefore, each Christian must get their goals set straight with the Lord. Seek after His knowledge to your lives, and then anything else you need to be able to function in the life will be presented for you by the Lord.

Here are seven really profound passages, all proving us that seeking after the knowledge of God for our lives is better than the many material success the world offers. Now more than ever before all Christians must ground on these kinds of verses, because we have a lot in the world of material wealth luring us to choose to chase after it.

1. 'Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her.' (Proverbs 3:13)

2. 'How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.' (Proverbs 16:16)

3. 'There is gold and a multitude of rubies, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.' (Proverbs 20:15)

4. ' but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.' (Ecclesiastes 7:12)

5. 'Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it.' (Proverbs 16:22)

6. 'Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.' (Proverbs 24:3)

7. 'Wisdom strengthens the wise more than ten rulers of the city.' (Ecclesiastes 7:19)

The very first 2 verses earlier mentioned easily say it all when it states that wisdom as well as understanding are better than all of the gains of gold and silver.

Amitabh, thats what i am saying. Sex shouldn't be comoditised. its a fun, everyday activity and if we treat porn like any other form of filmed entertainment, a lot of good can come out of it.

and about the last point, blaming porn cant be the answer. its the same logic as blaming skimply clad women or sex in hollywood films. Juvenile offenders claim that they are motivated by sex cause thats the only exposure that they have had. that too of violent fantasies. all we need is showing another kind of sexual relationship through a new kind of porn. hence.

I was being sarcastic, I don't plan my life that far ahead of time, and I never make lists, in actually, when an idea hits me I drop everthing and get it done (which is not always the practical thing to do) because I know tomorrow I'll be distracted by a different idea.

I really don't need to make resolutions, I don't spend much time debating wheteher I should do something or not, if I feel passionate enough about something, it WILL get done, whatever the cost.

There's nothing for me to quit because I'm not addicted to anything, whenever I notice in myself a pattern of behavior (good or bad) taking shape I stop abruptly and change course on the fly, not because I have a strong will but because I have a very short attention span.

I have always felt that having a particular fetish and being addicted to any one drug or thing or whatever, is for the masses, of course, things are not that black & white and people have justifications and reasons for everything but I believe an artist should not be bound by addiction, it's too restrictive and boring, ultimately it all depends on the individual mindset but personally,

I'd rather be free to explore and express everything, my life and my behavior are not much different than my artwork, the only exception being the commitment I have for my kids.

I didn't say "have more sex with other people", you can always have sex with yourself, where's the harm in that? Yes a lot of them may not enjoy that. Unfortunately most porn is created for men and their fantasies. and they seem to be getting extreme every passing year. since its a taboo activity that we are forced to do in private, pornographers get away with crazy shit lots of times. hence i suggest mainstreaming it. kuber
